Germany vs. Scotland (in Munich)

Munich will host the opening game of the much-awaited EURO 2024. As is the tradition in the EURO Championships, the host team will play the first match, so Germany will face Scotland in Group A. While Germany have had their bad moments in past tournaments, they will hope for a new dawn under new coach Julian Nagelsmann. The reactivation of Toni Kroos may be key to the host team's performance. Scotland in the meantime are the clear underdogs in this opening clash. But will they be able to come up with something to surprise the Germans?
